Overview

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance completed its first joint evaluation together with Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), , the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO).The evaluation includes country perspectives, which are crucial for understanding the extent to which COVAX addressed country needs, to inform recommendations to improve effectiveness of future pandemic responses. The evaluation emphasizes the need for faster, large-scale delivery mechanisms, inclusive design, early country engagement, and transparent governance for future health emergencies.
